Welcome to Redemptions! Like most places you need to know the basic information. This board is loaded with it. Think of it as well your handbook and guide. Follow it and you will do great! Inside you will find the rules and important facts and tid bits about the site. Also the most important item is found here, the plot. So be sure to read this board carefully and if you have any questions please contact staff or ask in the c-box for help.

Every site has updates and let’s face it everybody has announcements to make so does Redemptions. It is suggested that you pop in here every now and then to make sure that you are up to date on everything on the site. The activity check will also be in here so please be sure to post in here when activity check comes around. We don’t want your accounts deleted.

Do you have a brilliant idea for Redemptions? Then come in here and take a look at what others have said. Please be honest and tell the staff what you really think. We want this to be a place that everyone enjoys. Every suggestion will be taken into consideration. Just make a thread and wait for a few days possibly a week before the staff gives your thread an answer.

This board is for the staff only. Members do not have access to this board however if they do have any suggestions or ideas should be submitted to this board here called the Suggestions and Concerns, which the staff will read and discuss and take it into consideration. This board holds some of the sites biggest secrets and debates but don’t worry we do not hide everything sooner or later you will be notified of what is going on don’t worry.

In order to Role Play on Redemptions, you will have to complete an application. All of the business that has to deal with applications will be found here. Once your application is accepted though, it will be transferred to the Biography board. You may not participate in any role playing until your application is approved.

Currently there are no bans

This is the place where all of the claims and signs up are at. The Celebrity Claim is found here, the one that you sign up officially for claiming and not just reserving. There are other things in here as well because signs ups and claims all that good stuff. There is the Thread Tracker (Character Logs), and so much more. This is basically where all the odds and ends of the Character Development boards are at.

What a crazy thing but people still look in the classified section but our Classifieds are much different then the newspaper or on the internet. At Redemptions our classifieds are filled up with other fun things like wanted characters that the members have made up and other fun little things that can make things more interesting like tutors or study groups to even room mates.

The place where all of the completed and accepted applications go is here in the Filing Cabinet. Now days though people use computers for those things but its nice to be a little old fashioned. Every accepted and active character’s application will be found in here for you to look at and review. You can not edit or change anything in the applications. This is a viewable board for members only!

Even though there is the big site wide plot, there are always those amazing little plots among characters. Here is the board to discuss just that the plots. This is also essential to help out new characters that have just joined the site. So be friendly and let’s try to come up with some original plots. Also, there are other little goodies in this board, such as, Relationship Plot Maps, which are great for figuring out where your characters belong in this site, then we have a board set up for creating and signing up your events so that way other people will know about the events that are going on.

Every local city has a newspaper and so does this site. Here the most read newspaper is the Cambridge Chronicle. Most college students however would rather read the Whispers of Fallen Saints but sometimes we have to read what is going on in the real world. The Chronicle is all about facts at least that is what it is suppose to be. You may submit some news to the Chronicle if you have a great story here also. The staff of the Chronicle loves getting a heads up before the other newspapers gets to it.

No matter where a person goes, there will always be those whispers that revolve our worlds. But on the Harvard College University campus there is much more than a small shower or whispers normally it is a huge storm. Whispers of Fallen Saints, is a new blog that opened up this year. No one knows who writes it but there is one thing that everyone does know. The latest Gossip about the Greek Life and even those Blood Orchids to the every day simple people are all found here.

Another amazing way to keep up with friends and family. Blogs are used for so many things like keeping in touch with everyone that they want to. But even though this little internet journal/diary, seems like a blessing it may not exactly be that way. Since they can be public, you may want to watch what is said or it may appear in the Whispers of Fallen Saints.

Just about everyone has a cell phone these days. So do our characters. Make a call to a friend and talk forever or just text back and forth. Either way cell phones make it easy to talk to friends especially when you are bored in class with nothing to do but listen to a boring lecture.

Every student of Harvard has an email address provided from the school. All you have to do is go to the Character Lounge to claim your email address. Each character has their own board so it will be closer to an inbox. So many things go through our email boxes, like invites, spam, rumors, and well hate letters from people we do not know.

Bored, or trying to do anything to distract you from your school work? Why not get on MSN and chat it up with friends or meet new people. You may be surprised who you meet or talk about on the internet. Sometimes, things happen that we wish to take back.

Even though it was announced the newest booty call, we all still have our Myspaces. It is always the fastest way to get word out on parties or events or to just talk bad about other people. But then again there are a few people that are actually nice on Myspace and are just on it for socializing and networking.

Most of the Athletic buildings are found in one general area in the Allston area which is a good 10 minute car ride away from the Harvard yard . The fields and buildings are all up to date. There are more buildings for the athletes that are not found in this area. This area is more for games and tournaments. Sometimes people train here but most of the time they have their own buildings to train in. But there is normally always something going on here during the fall, winter, spring seasons on the weekends.

There are so many buildings and the Harvard Campus is so large, so all the classrooms will be found here. Each class that has an active professor will have their own board for their class room. But until then this board is made up for all of the labs, lectures, classes, and so on that are taken place on the campus. Anyone and everyone is allowed to start a class thread not just the teachers so don’t be shy.

The place where most of the undergraduate students are always found. This is the oldest part of the Harvard Campus. Many of the buildings are older. Still a lot of professors hang out here and normally something is always going on.

Many buildings are not a part of the Harvard Campus. We, the staff of Redemptions, do not want to limit the reality of the Harvard campus so all the buildings that are known and that are not on the central area for the undergraduate students will be found here. Some things like buildings for the athletes, and fields for games, stores that are for the University, to just random places.

Harvard is a large campus. Many of the other parts of the campus, undergraduates do not venture in mostly because they are still working on their first degree. But since there are those few who are adventurous, this board is made for threads that will be taken place anywhere on the campus. It could be at one of the sub-schools of Harvard to locations that is not mentioned in the other boards.

The boundaries of Alewife/West Cambridge are very important. This area is bordered by the Charles River, the Watertown, Belmont, and Arlington Lines, Alewife Brook Parkway, the B&M Railroad, Sherman Street, Garden Street, Mason Street, and Ash Street. There are three resident neighborhoods in this area and they are West Cambridge, Strawberry Hill, and Cambridge Highlands.

The boundaries of Bay Square/Upper Broadway are very important. This area is bordered by Inman St., Doyle Way, Bigelow St., Sellers St., Green St., Pleasant St., Western Avenue, Howard St., Kinnaird St., Putnam Avenue, Massachusetts Avenue, Prescott St., Kirkland St., the Somerville Line, Leonard Avenue, Cambridge St., Dana St., and Broadway. There is only one neighborhood for this area and that is the Mid-Cambridge.

The boundaries of Cambridgeport/Riverside are very important. This area is bordered by the Charles River, Amesbury Street, the Conrail Railroad, Erie Street, Fairmont Street, River Street, Howard Street, Kinnaird Street, and Flagg Street. There are three neighborhoods for this area and they are the Cambridgeport, MIT Area, and the Riverside.

The boundaries of Harvard Square are very important. This area is bordered by Prescott Street, Massachusetts Avenue, Putnam Avenue, Flagg Street, the Charles River, Ash Street, Mason Street, Garden Street, Waterhouse Street, Massachusetts Avenue, and Cambridge Street. The Harvard Square Residency’s of eastern side of the West Cambridge Residence Neighborhood and the north-western half of the Riverside Residence Neighborhood.

The boundaries of Massachusetts Avenue Corridor are very important. This area is bordered by Kirkland Street, the Somerville Line, the B&M Railroad, Sherman Street, Garden Street, Waterhouse Street, Massachusetts Avenue, and Cambridge Street. There are two resident neighborhoods in this area and they are Peabody and Agassiz.

Everybody has a future and a past, so why not role play it too! There is a board set up so you can go back in time or you can jump to the future and role play the possibility of what could happen. Just please in your threads put the date and the place of where your threads take place so that way everyone will understand and possibly not get too confused.

There is always some sort of event going on. Both the staff members and members are allowed to have events. Just sign up for your event up at the Character Lounge. Each event gets their own board and some of the boards are password protected if it is a closed event.

Sometimes you just have to look back at all the old threads that you were in. Other times you may need to go back to refresh your memory. Either way the archives are open to only members. There are more than just old role playing threads in here however. Basically all of the old, completed, or died threads will be moved to this board instead of being deleted.

It’s our own little secret place to talk and hid and gets to know each other. There are all sorts of things to do here. Basically it is a nice break from role playing as you are waiting for reply backs. There is also the Leave of Absence board in here along with a few other ones that are fun.

So sometimes we have just brilliant coders on a roleplay but no one really knows about it. Then there are those people that just have the jaw dropping signatures. Well, here is where you can either request templates for phones or plot pages or whatever or in most cases graphics. After all we all want to be happy about how purdy everything looks right?

Spreading around the word is the best way to help out sites. IF you have a site of your own that you want to advertise on Redemptions then this is the only place to do it. Please do not do it in the c-box or you will get banned. When you put the ad up make sure you put it in the right sub-board. If you are interested in becoming a lovely Affiliate with us then this is also where you will do that.
